Velux
Velux Daylight Viusalizer

Company: Velux A/S
My Role: UX / UI
VELUX has spent over 75 years believing that daylight and fresh air make buildings and the people inside them — healthier. Their simulation tools translate this mission into software: professional tools that let architects and engineers predict, visualise, and document how daylight behaves in a space before a single window is installed.
Goal: At VELUX, I joined the digital team supporting two distinct simulation products (Daylight Visualizer & Energy & Indoor Climate Visualizer) used by professionals worldwide. My work spanned UI design, visual assets, icon creation, and design system contributions — combining architectural thinking with digital craft. Daylight Visualizer is a professional lighting simulation - illuminance, daylight factor, photorealistic rendering and false-colour output for architects and engineers. Energy & Indoor Climate Visualizer - thermal comfort, energy performance, ventilation and indoor air quality - used globally by VELUX sales teams and building consultants.

"A room flooded with daylight performs differently in every hour of every day. Our job was to make that complexity legible - for the engineer calculating compliance, and for the architect imagining the space."
Design System - visual language built on warmth, precision, and air.
Match Water Solutions was developed as part of DHI's active commitment to the United Nations 2030 Agenda. The platform directly addresses SDG 6 — Clean Water and Sanitation — by accelerating the connection between water challenges and the technology solutions needed to solve them.
SDG 6 targets universal access to clean water and sanitation by 2030. Progress is currently off track globally. By enabling faster, smarter matching between water project owners and proven technology providers, Match Water Solutions helps close the gap between available innovation and the communities that need it most — across 40+ countries.
